Tesla dealership vandal arrested in latest ‘domestic terror’ event
Over the last few weeks, liberals have gone off the deep end, taking out their frustrations regarding DOGE and Elon Musk out on dealerships and cars.
Well, Attorney General Pam Bondi is dropping the hammer, and those who were recently arrested are in for a bit of a surprise when they get to trial.
Domestic Terrorism
When these attacks started to become a regular occurrence, AG Pam Bondi made it clear this would not be tolerated.
Bondi announced that vandalism attacks against Tesla dealerships would now be treated as domestic terrorist attacks, which meant up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Bondi stated, "The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended.
"Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars."
He’s Been Arrested
In one of the Tesla dealership attacks, a man in Las Vegas firebombed several cars with a Molotov cocktail, but it did not take too long for authorities to catch up to him.
Paul Hyon Kim, 36, was arrested Wednesday by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on charges related to at least five cars getting torched at several Las Vegas dealerships.
Spencer Evans, the FBI agent-in-charge of the bureau's Las Vegas office, explained, "There's nothing courageous or noble about firebombing private property and terrorizing your local community.
"The self-righteous mob that's cheering you on today to commit acts of violence on their behalf will leave you high and dry and forget about you tomorrow. And at the end of the day, you and you alone will be held responsible and face the prospect of a lengthy prison sentence."
No Plea Deals
When you are caught dead to rights, in most cases, prosecutors will save time and money by not going to trial and offering a plea deal.
That will not be the case in these Tesla attacks, as Bondi has made it quite clear she wants to make an example of these people. Regarding the arrest above and the subsequent consequences, Bondi stated, “That was remarkable police work, working with the state police, our FBI, they have been going nonstop on this case. This guy is in custody. Laura, he is facing [a] five-year minimum mandatory, to 20 years in prison. And this was great police work.
“This guy thought he got away with it. So, these people better look out. They better cut it out. Because we are coming after you. And, at my direction, there will be no negotiating on these people.”
I am fully behind her on this. This madness needs to stop and if these lunatics realize they are likely to spend the rest of their lives in jail, perhaps it will give them reason for pause before they throw that firebomb into a business. Lock them up and throw away the key!
