Tim Walz's pandering proves he's not the leader White House needs

If we needed any more proof that vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz will simply conform to get what he wants, we now have it.

Walz would rather MOCK Trump to win over a crowd than discuss any of the actual issues this country is facing.

A key topic that made news the day after last week's presidential debate was Donald Trump’s claim that Haitian immigrants in this country are eating other citizens' pets.

“In Springfield they’re eating dogs. They’re eating the cats. They’re eating … the pets of the people that live there. And this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame,” Trump said.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham commented on this subject during a recent interview saying that he “doesn’t know about dogs and cats, But there are numerous young women who have been raped and murdered by people who were in our custody here illegally, and we let them go. That’s what I’d be talking about. That should be the face of a broken immigration system, not cats and dogs.”

While Graham is considered an ally of Trump, he still found a way to take what he said and shed light on what he believes the most important part of the issue truly is -- keeping the lives of innocent Americans safe.

While we wish we could say the same for ANYONE running for a position of power, vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz has proved that sentiment stops at his door.

During a recent rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Walz let it fly.

When the crowd began to chant “we don’t eat cats,” all Walz seemed to care about was winning over the crowd and began playing up this angle.

“He said a lot of weird stuff too, so I’m just going to say that,” Walz said referring to Trump’s claim of Haitian pet eating.

He did not stop there.

“You tell me that you had this on your bingo card: ‘And they’re eating cats’” Walz also said.

Walz could have brought attention to the raping and murder of women by illegal immigrants in the country and he refused.

At the end of the day, Walz could have talked about ANYTHING serious.

Instead, he used his time on the stage to mock Donald Trump rather than contribute a single thing of value or substance.

Is THIS the kind of leader we want in the White House?
