Todd: Biden’s team sabotaged his run for president

The excuses continue from the media and the left about the Democrats' failed run at the White House in 2024.  

The latest excuse was offered up by former NBC anchor Chuck Todd, who claims Biden’s team sabotaged him.  

Early Debate 

When the date of the first debate of the 2024 presidential election was announced, it definitely caught my attention.  

A late June debate was early, and I even suggested at the time it was probably being done to see if Biden was up to the task.  

If Biden blew it, the Dems could pull him out of the race, claim he was too old, and have a new primary race to replace him.  

What I really thought would happen would be that Biden would step down and make Harris the incumbent. To me, that made the most sense, giving Harris a position of strength rather than running under the shadow of Biden still sitting in the Oval Office after what amounted to a coup to remove him from the general election after having won the primary race. 

Crash and Burn 

I was close in my prediction, but I was off by the fact that Biden only withdrew from the race after the debate.  

I think Biden’s fate was sealed after he gave a long-winded answer, then blurted out something completely unrelated, and Trump responded, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence, and I don’t think he did, either.” 

It was a great troll, but it just highlighted to everyone how bad Joe Biden had become.  

Biden did not immediately leave the race, but after three weeks of being pestered, he finally gave up and handed the nomination off to Harris.   

It Was a Plot! 

Todd believes that Biden insiders did this on purpose to highlight an issue they could not possibly talk about publicly.  

He stated, "Look, I will go to my grave believing that the debate was intentional for that.” 

He later added, "Anita Dunn and Jen O’Malley Dillon will deny it till they’re blue in the face, and if I were in their shoes and I did it, I’d deny it until I was blue in my face, okay?"   

I don’t necessarily disagree with him, but I think we have a much bigger issue if his theory is right. If that was the case, then staffers knew Biden was unfit, but they continued to allow him to serve as president, and that, in my eyes, is traitorous to the country. Someone must be held responsible for this.
