Trump comforts mother whose son died from Fentanyl poisoning
One of the reasons Donald Trump is in a tariff war with Canada is because he does not believe Canada is doing enough to wipe out the fentanyl trade coming over our borders from the north.
Trump hit him on that point this week, bringing the mother of a young man who died from fentanyl poisoning up on stage… and the tears were flowing.
Up There Watching You
Every politician chooses photo-ops to score points with the American people, and Trump is no different. However, Trump tends to pick moments that really hit the hearts of the everyday people, and the Democrats and media cannot stand it because it makes Trump look more human.
To that point, while making a speech from the Department of Justice, Trump brought up Anne Fundner, whose son died after taking fentanyl-laced pills.
When given the microphone for a few moments, Fundner stated, "The cartels were allowed to operate on American soil and took hundreds of thousands of American lives. And so, we knew there was only one person that could save us from the devastation on our American soil. And that was President Trump.
"I feel like I can speak for the entire fentanyl fighting community when I say thank you to President Trump and thank you to Pam Bondi and everyone out here who is fighting this fight. God bless you. God bless you, President Trump."
Not the First Time
As I stated, Trump is very good at this, and he had done this prior with a young cancer survivor during Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress.
Trump honored 13-year-old cancer survivor Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel, who absolutely loves law enforcement.
There is no quit in this kid, and while dressed in a Houston PD uniform, he found out that he was being made an honorary member of the United States Secret Service. To be honest, I would not be surprised to see Trump allow him to work an appearance as an honorary agent when they know there is no chance of a threat. Can you imagine the pictures of young DJ walking beside Trump as he takes the dais at the White House?
This should have been a great moment for the country, but most Democrats refused to acknowledge the young man.
Despicable
In addition to the abhorrent conduct by the Democrats, the media went after Trump for honoring DJ.
The worst of this came from MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, who stated, "For the record, and this is disgusting, the president made a spectacle out of praising a young man who thus far survived pediatric cancer, as if the president had something to do with that.”
That statement is utterly ridiculous, as Trump never claimed to have anything to do with this boy’s fight. He was merely recognizing him and making him an honorary member of the Secret Service.
This is the current state of the world we live in, my friends, because we all know had it been Joe Biden who brought that boy to an address, the mainstream media would have eaten it up.
