Trump exposes fraud, worse at USAID as Dems meltdown

We all know the game plan in terms of what Democrats do when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

They deflect and accuse the other side of being corrupt, and that is exactly what happened when the corruption at USAID was exposed.

Waste and Fraud

Elon Musk and DOGE's mission was to find fraud and waste, expose it, and end it. USAID, an agency started by executive order during the Kennedy administration, was the first to feel the power of its sword.

Musk exposed both fraud and excessive wasteful spending, such as contraceptive initiatives in Gaza, gain-of-function research, and programs where Musk alleged money was being paid to terrorist organizations, all with the blessing of the White House.

The agency falls under the purview of the Secretary of State, the president, and the National Security Council, so Secretary Rubio stepped in as acting director, shuttered the doors, and declared that the agency needed a complete overhaul. Rubio has since delegated the acting director position to someone he will be in touch with regularly.

Staffers revolted, which led to Rubio all but shuttering the agency, stating, "The goal was to reform it, but now we have rank insubordination. Now we have basically an active effort — their basic attitude is, ‘We don’t work for anyone. We work for ourselves. No agency of government can tell us what to do.’"

Dems Got Nervous

You would think Trump tore up the Constitution and declared himself the King by the reaction of Democrats, which just tells me that Trump is on the right track here.

Democrat lawmakers held a rally in DC this week, likening Elon Musk to a Nazi, calling for an uprising in the streets.

Senator Warren (D-MA) whined that nobody elected Elon Musk to office. Well, there are more than two million federal workers in this country, and there are only 537 of them who were elected outside the judiciary, so most of the people making and influencing policy in this country were not elected to office.

And to all the people crying about it, I would say that Trump was very clear about what he was going to do, and he had a landslide Electoral College vote and won the popular vote, not to mention his current approval rating is at 53% according to the latest polling, so the majority of Americans knew what he was going to and they clearly approve of the way he is doing it.

Get Used to It

Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) offered up the same message to people that I offered on my social media page… shut up and stop whining because this is just the beginning.

Ernst stated, “The Democrats need to get used to this. We are going to find ways to focus our American taxpayer dollars on the things that they should be spent on, which is the American people and our interests.

“Again, we don't need to be wasting money on ridiculous items like saying how fast shrimp can run on treadmills. I don't care about that. The American people, they don't care about that. So get ready for disruption. Get used to disruption. Let's get our federal government back on track and doing what we should be doing and not focusing on items of ridiculous ideology.”

Shred it, I say, shred it all. This is exactly what I wanted to happen in 2016, but Trump had far too many swamp rats in his ear. Our government wastes tens, if not hundreds of billions of dollars on absurd program and foreign aid to our adversaries and enemies every year, just because it can. Well, now Musk has been assigned to balance the checkbook. I don’t expect him to come anywhere near the $2 trillion he said he would cut, but more important to me, the covers get pulled back and the American people see just how much waste our government covers up.
