Trump says Obama may have committed treason
The Trump administration dropped a bombshell on former President Barack Obama last week: DNI Tulsi Gabbard revealed that she thought Obama was directly implicated in a plot against Donald Trump.
Trump has since dialed up the heat, even accusing Obama of treason.
Jordan wants investigation
If the allegations by Gabbard can be proven, this is the biggest scandal we have seen, blowing the Biden mental decline cover-up right out of the water.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) stated, “It’s between election day and inauguration day, and they’re figuring out what to do.
“They have this meeting on December 9 [2016], in the Oval Office, all the key players are there, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, McCabe, Lynch, you name it, the whole team is there.
“It’s at this meeting where it looks like President Obama decided we’re not going to accept the intelligence community assessment that President Trump and Russia had no collusion.”
Trump dials it up
Trump really got after it when he was asked about the documents Gabbard claimed to have.
He stated, “Well, based on what I read … it would be President Obama. He started it. And Biden was there with him. And Comey was there. And Clapper, the whole group was there. Brennan, they were all there in a room.
"Right here, this was the room … If you look at those papers, they have them stone cold. And it was President Obama. It wasn’t lots of people all over the place. It was them too.
“But the leader of the gang was President Obama, Barack Hussein Obama. Have you heard of him?”
The response
Obama usually avoids all things Trump, but his office had no choice but to respond to this one. But you really need to look at his words carefully.
His office stated, "Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one.
"These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction. Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio."
His comments regarding the findings were correct, but that is also not the topic of discussion. This is specifically about them creating a narrative to go after Trump by saying that Trump colluded with Russia, so that statement is nothing but deflection. This is far from over.
