Trump Starts Using Robot Dogs to Patrol Mar-a-Lago
With live Secret Service agents unable to protect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home, it would appear that robots are now, in part, being used to protect the president-elect.
Photos of robot dogs patrolling the estate are blowing up all over the internet.
Trump Assassination Attempt #1
If we are being honest, while everyone was shocked when the first assassination attempt against Trump took place, they were not totally surprised.
Democrats and the media have been portraying Trump as a monster for years, so it was only a matter of time before someone stepped in to decide that they were going to save the country from the bad orange man.
The first time this happened was on July 13, 2024, when a 20-year-old somehow managed to surveil Trump’s Butler rally site, set up shop, and take shots all under the watchful eye of the Secret Service and local law enforcement.
As you now know, the attempt was unsuccessful, but Trump was wounded, two innocent civilians were shot, and one was killed. This resulted in some agents being suspended and an investigation into what was obviously a failed protection plan for Trump.
Trump Assassination Attempt #2
While the second attempt against Donald Trump’s life did not see any shots fired by the attempted assassin, it too featured significant failures by the Secret Service. In this instance, the alleged shooter set up shop at Trump’s golf course for hours before Trump showed up to play his round of golf.
Agents happened to see the barrel of his weapon through the bushes, then opened fire, sending the shooter scrambling.
He was eventually caught thanks to tips that identified his vehicle. But again, there were clearly breaches of protocols that should been used that even allowed him to set up in that manner.
Call in the Dogs
Since the second attempt, Congress demanded additional protection for Trump, and it was passed. And now that Trump is officially the president-elect, he would get just as much protection as Joe Biden.
It would appear that the Secret Service finally got the message because robotic dogs are now being used to patrol the grounds of the estate.
These dogs are considered part of his Secret Service team, but they look like something out of an Elon Musk robotics project (they are actually produced by a company called Boston Dynamics).
The Secret Service responded to inquiries about the dogs, stating, “Safeguarding the President-elect is a top priority.
“While we cannot get into the specific capabilities, the robotic dogs are equipped with surveillance technology, and an array of advanced sensors that support our protective operations.”
The futuristic hounds are estimated to cost somewhere between $9,000 and $75,000. And no, just in case you are curious, you cannot pet them!
