Trump Supporter Says MAGA Hat Banned from Citi Field

A couple of Trump supporters wanted to take in a Mets game at Citi Field, only they were wearing the wrong hat.

Instead of donning a Mets cap for the game, they had on their MAGA hats.

When they arrived at Citi Field, they were denied entrance until they took their hats off.

Aura Moody and her friend Taisha both had their MAGA hats on when they went to the game with other members of the Queens Village Republican Club on Wednesday night.

After initially being waved through security, another staffer approached them and told them that they had to take the MAGA hats off or they would not be permitted to go to their seats.

Moody stated, “The United States of America is no longer the vehicle of freedom and tolerance.

“I am living under a communist regime where our freedoms are trampled upon…that was the first thought that came to my mind.”

According to the Citi Field staffer, the hat was “too political,” which tells me that the staffer was probably a liberal who supports Harris and was offended by the MAGA cap.

The two women eventually agreed to take their hats off, but that was only because they did not want to ruin the night for the rest of the club members.

The kicker is that the staffer wanted them to take the hats off and told the women they could not put them in their bags. The hats literally needed to leave the stadium.

So, they would up calling a friend who was still outside the gates to come and fetch the hats for them so they could be stored in the car while they were at the game.

To add insult to injury, Moody stated that once inside, she saw a handful of MAGA hats in the stands, so this was clearly not a stadium policy but the policy of someone who thought they had more power than they really did.

When the report went public, the Mets stated, “A Mets employee was mistaken about our attire policy.

“We are reaching out to Aura Moody to apologize and invite her back to the ballpark.”

You know what the Mets really need to do… fire that employee. Now, that would make us all happy, and perhaps it would stop these liberal crybabies from overstepping their bounds every time they see a Trump supporter and have a mental meltdown over it.
