Vance defends Gabbard after comments dismissed by Trump

Over the last few days, there has been a bit of a dustup in the White House regarding the assessment given by Tulsi Gabbard regarding Iran’s nuclear capabilities.  

After Trump dismissed her comments, Vance is now taking up for Gabbard to try to put this fire out.  

Gabbard Speaks 

When Gabbard appeared on the Hill, she was asked about Iran’s nuclear program.  

She answered that the Supreme Leader has not given an order to create a nuclear weapon, and at this time, Iran does not have such a weapon.  

If you watched the full hearing, she later stated that Iran did have the capability, but that is not what the media focused on when it presented her comments to Trump.  

Rather than Trump knowing what Gabbard said in full, Trump just went off and dismissed her comments completely.  

I Don’t Care 

When Trump was asked about Gabbard’s comments, his answer should have been that the reporter was taking her comments out of context, and it was a dishonest question.  

Instead, he replied, “I don’t care what she said. I think they were very close to having one.” 

Now, the media and Democrats are latching on to the narrative that Trump is again dismissing reports from his intelligence officials to start a war.  

What the media failed to report was that Gabbard had also stated, “Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons.” She was very clear in two different areas. No, Iran does not have a nuclear weapon. Yes, Iran could produce one.  

Vance Gets Involved 

Vance is once again showing up at the scene to put out a fire created by Trump going off when he should have been a little better prepared.  

Vance stepped in to defend Gabbard, stating, "DNI Gabbard is a veteran, a patriot, a loyal supporter of President Trump and a critical part of the coalition he built in 2024. 

"She is an essential member of our team, and we’re grateful for her tireless work to keep America safe from foreign threats." 

I was not completely onboard with Gabbard when she was nominated, but the fact of the matter is that she is getting the short end of the stick, and this is a perfect example of how the mainstream media manipulates the American people. You know how I found out her full comments? I watched the entire hearing. How many people do you think are going to do that to get the truth?
