Venezuela blinks, agrees to take back migrants

Donald Trump is having quite the week regarding his immigration efforts.

It was just announced that Venezuela is the latest country to cave to his demands, announcing it will take back its illegals.

Trump Wins Again

The leaders of countries who are guilty of having their citizens cross our borders illegally are caving like a wax figure in 100-degree heat.

The latest to cave is Venezuela, which has just agreed to take its illegal immigrants back.

Donald Trump announced the agreement, stating, “We are in the process of removing record numbers of illegal aliens from all countries, and all countries have agreed to accept these illegal aliens back.

“Venezuela has agreed to receive, back into their country, all Venezuela illegal aliens who were encamped in the U.S., including gang members of Tren de Aragua.”

Victory #1

The first big win on this front came against Columbia, which tried to stiffen up by refusing two planes of illegals almost immediately after Trump took over.

President Petro refused the planes filled with his people, but Trump immediately stated that he was going to impose a 25% tariff, and if the situation was not rectified to his liking, the tariff would go up to 50% in a week.

Petro immediately caved and sent his plane to pick up the first group, then stated that Columbia would be more than happy to take back its citizens.

Not only that, just a few days later, he announced on X, "I ask undocumented Colombians in the US to immediately leave their jobs in that country and return to Colombia as soon as possible. Wealth is produced only by working people. The Department of Social Prosperity … will seek to provide productive loans to returnees who enroll in its programs. Let's build social wealth in Colombia."

Victory #2

Mexico was also posturing, with its new president talking tough against Trump, but she also just broke.

After Trump announced a 25% tariff against Mexico, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum backed down and just announced that Mexico will be sending 10,000 National Guard troops to its border to help lock down the border on the Mexican side.

She posted, “Mexico will reinforce the northern border with 10,000 members of the National Guard immediately, to stop drug trafficking from Mexico to the United States, in particular fentanyl. The United States commits to work to stop the trafficking of high-powered weapons to Mexico."

In reality, all these countries know we have the bigger stick, only Joe Biden was afraid to use it. There is a new sheriff in town, and Trump has proven quite convincingly that regardless of how tough these countries talk, they all need us more than we need them. This is a HUGE win for Trump.
