Zuckerberg Admits Facebook Killed Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Republicans finally got the confession they wanted.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook took down the Hunter Biden story after the FBI warned the story could be Russian disinformation.

He further admitted that the story should have never been “demoted.”

Pressure, Pressure, Under Pressure

According to Zuckerberg, the FBI had reached out to Facebook to let the outlet know that there was a possible “Russian disinformation operation” regarding the family of Joe Biden.

The fact-checkers were then ordered to demote the story.

Zuckerberg added, “It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story.

“We’ve changed our policies and processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again — for instance, we no longer temporarily demote things in the U.S. while waiting for fact-checkers.”

Here is the problem with all of this…

From previous testimony, we know investigators were initially blocked from even examining the laptop, which would have proven the early assumption by many that the laptop was not authentic.

Furthermore, the Russian disinformation campaign was started by Biden allies within the intelligence community after they wrote a letter saying that the laptop had all the signs of Russian disinformation.

They made that assumption without having ever actually examined the laptop, which made the FBI’s lack of urgency in terms of checking the information really stand out.

This all happened with Chris Wray in charge of the FBI, who is still serving as its director and who was appointed by Donald Trump.

Post-election polls showed that the overwhelming majority of voters would have reconsidered their vote had they known the story was true or even heard of the story.

This is why I have always been amazed that Republicans did not push charging Wray with election interference for not proving the laptop true one way or the other.

If that letter had never been written or if Biden had not used that letter during the debate to discredit the story, that would be one thing, but once it became a tool for Democrats to attack Trump and call him a liar, it should have been investigated to tell the American people the truth.

The sad reality of this is that even with Republicans in the White House, our Department of Justice was still somehow weaponized against Donald Trump.

We need an all-out cleaning of leadership in these agencies to remove any partisanship that remains.

Ideally, the DOJ is truly non-partisan, but I doubt we will ever see that happen again, as it is now clear that the DOJ is just another weapon to be used by corrupt politicians to take down their opponents.
