Teamsters Union Declines to Endorse Presidential Candidate

For the first time in forever, the Teamsters Union will not be making a presidential endorsement.

Even though internal polling showed that Trump had nearly a 2:1 favorable rating over Harris, the union did not weigh in.

So much for the membership having input.

Corrupt Frauds

Teamsters President Sean O’Brien had delayed the endorsement announcement because he wanted to talk to Kamala Harris about the union, which is a complete and utter joke.

That union has pages of officers who make more than $150,000 a year, and top-end management like O’Brien pulls in more than $400,000 a year in total compensation.

Yet, Joe Biden decided to give the unions billions of taxpayer dollars to bail out their pensions due to corruption and mismanagement.

Even so, after meeting with Harris, O’Brien was about as impressed with her as he was with membership, who gave Trump a nearly 2:1 edge in a phone and electronic poll conducted by the union.

But, instead of endorsing Trump, like the members wanted, O’Brien simply took his ball and went home.

In announcing the non-endorsement, he stated, "The union’s extensive member polling showed no majority support for Vice President Harris and no universal support among the membership for President Trump."

That, of course, was a lie, but that has never stopped corrupt union officials before.

Harris was livid after the endorsement, stating, "While Donald Trump says striking workers should be fired, Vice President Harris has literally walked the picket line and stood strong with organized labor for her entire career.

"The Vice President’s strong union record is why Teamsters locals across the country have already endorsed her — alongside the overwhelming majority of organized labor."

Maybe that will make Harris think twice before giving unions more taxpayer handouts to cover up for their wayward spending, but when you consider these unions donate hundreds of millions to Democrat campaigns, I doubt that will happen.
