Rep. Thompson Would Welcome Pre-emptive Pardon by Biden

Democrats who were on the J6 Select Committee are now terrified that they have been marked by Donald Trump for prosecution.

While some are backing off the idea of a pre-emptive pardon, the chair of that committee, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), says he would welcome one.

Biden Reportedly Discussing Pardons

Reporting has been all over the place on this, but my understanding is that the discussion of the pardons are now among White House counsel and Biden advisers.

They are simply considering these options and who would receive the pardons before bringing the puppet into the mix.

Politico reported, “Biden’s aides are deeply concerned about a range of current and former officials who could find themselves facing inquiries and even indictments, a sense of alarm which has only accelerated since Trump last weekend announced the appointment of Kash Patel to lead the FBI. Patel has publicly vowed to pursue Trump’s critics.”

What he has actually done is vow to hold people who broke the law or abused their power accountable, so it is a bit different than Dems are portraying right now.

I’ll Take That Pardon

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is about to move over to the Senate, has already stated that he does not want a pre-emptive pardon because he believes he never did anything wrong.

In reality, Schiff is believed to have been behind the leak of a classified document during the Russian collusion investigation, and he blatantly lied to the American people regarding FISA warrant abuses after then-Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) released a memo that was believed to have been authored by Kash Patel.

Thomspon would actually take the pardon, stating, “The president, it’s his prerogative.

“If he offers it, to me or other members of the committee, I think it, I would accept it, but it’s his choice.”

Hypocrites

This is where we start to see Democrats show their true colors. When they were hitting Trump with charges, they all said if Trump were innocent, it would wash out as the cases played out, and that they had full trust in our justice system.

Now that the shoe is on the other foot, they want protection from prosecution.

If you have done nothing wrong, why would you ever need a pardon, regardless of what Kash Patel says he has planned?

These cases would still have to be tried in court before judges and a jury, so if you are innocent and you believe in our justice system, you will still be found innocent, right? Or perhaps you know the system is rigged when you are not running it, which is why you want that pardon.
