REPORT: Clooney calls out producer after being linked to Obama

Actor George Clooney was one of Joe Biden’s high-profile supporters.

Clooney held a huge fundraiser for Biden right before the debate, then wrote an op-ed to tell Biden to step down. It is that op-ed that is getting some attention now.

The Fundraiser

One would think that if you were going to run a massive multi-million record-setting fundraiser for a candidate, you would spend some time with him before the event.

If we are to believe everything George Clooney is saying, that was not the case before he and Julia Roberts helped Biden raise more than $30 million at a massive gala in Hollywood.

Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Jimmy Kimmel were part of a panel discussion, so I would think there were some signs that Joe was not all there, especially for Barack Obama, who generally spends some time speaking to Biden on a more personal level.

The fundraiser set records but Trump ended up having an event not long after that blew Biden’s even out of the water, raising more than $50 million, in what should have been a warning sign for Democrats.

Clooney’s Op-Ed

After the debate, George Clooney wrote an op-ed in the New York Times calling for Joe Biden to step down and allow someone else to take the lead in this election.

There was a lot of talk at the time wondering if someone like Barack Obama put Clooney up to the op-ed to let Joe know it was more than the powers that be in the party that were concerned.

Clooney tried to make Biden sound like a hero, ultimately saying that he needed to give up the nomination for the good of the country.

His op-ed concluded, “Joe Biden is a hero; he saved democracy in 2020. We need him to do it again in 2024.”

Obama Behind It

A new report that came out over the weekend had Clooney exploding on an MSNBC producer who is, or was, a friend of Clooney’s. “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski stated, "This wasn’t George Clooney.” Later adding, "I think that Barack Obama has a lot of influence."

Well, Clooney did not take that comment very lightly, reaming his producer friend, shouting at her, "How the f--- could you let her link me with Barack Obama saying he made me write the op-ed?" He reportedly continued, "You f----- me… You’re my friend. You should have stood up for me.”

The producer reportedly fired back, "This is a morning talk show on a cable channel. Nobody gives a f--- if we say he should get out or if he should stay in. Nobody f------ cares. It’s skywriting. It’s f------ gone. George, I told you before, we’ll try and take care of it tomorrow morning. I promise you."

All is not well in the Democrat world, as they are now ripping each other apart. That op-ed got a lot of attention, more so because everyone thought that Barack Obama was behind it. It will be really interesting to see how all this plays out as we move forward, especially in regard to how Biden treats all these people who he apparently feels crossed him in the election.
