Obama calls out Trump for removing media from press pool

Barack Obama is back in the headlines after publicly whining about some of the things that Donald Trump has done.

Ironically, while Obama questioned would have happened had he done these types of things, he actually did.

What If I Did That?

On Thursday, former President Barack Obama was at Hamilton College in New York, using his time on the dais to rant about Donald Trump’s presidency.

Obama stated, “Imagine if I had done any of this. Imagine if I had pulled Fox News’ credentials from the White House press corps.

“You’re laughing, but this is what’s happening.”

You know why it’s funny… because that is exactly what Obama tried to do, and far worse.

Pulling Fox’s Credentials

In 2009, Obama’s first year in office, Obama tried to squeeze Fox News out of the White House. He literally went to war with Fox News, to the point that other news agencies started to defend Fox News, so you know it had to be bad.

For example, at the time, Howard Kurtz, a Washington Post media columnist, reported, “Of course, Fox seems to be enjoying its ostracization, and the White House hasn’t done much to retaliate other than keep the president off its air.

“But I would have thought administration officials would be tamping it down by now. Haven’t they made their point?”

Michael Clemente, senior vice president for Fox News, added, “Hundreds of journalists come to work each day at Fox News all deeply committed to their craft. It’s disappointing that the White House would be so dismissive of their fine work and continue their vengeful war against a news organization.”

Circumventing Congress

While Obama rails about Trump using executive orders and defying judges, guess who pulled off one of the most infuriating executive orders of all time?

I am, of course, speaking about DACA, Obama’s immigration executive order, which circumvented Congress to provide protection for illegal immigrant children in this country.

DACA is often cited as the reason we have so many unaccompanied minors coming across the border, as families are hoping their children get amnesty, then they can come over later via chain migration. Currently, there are nearly four million dreamers in this country.

The best way to deflect is by accusing the other side of what you have or are doing, and Democrats are the masters of doing just that. Obama saying “what if I did that” is a complete and utter joke because he did do everything he says Trump is trying to do.
