Letitia James getting a dose of her own medicine from Trump

As most of you are aware, New York Attorney General Letitia James brought a massive civil lawsuit against Donald Trump, which resulted in a ruling with penalties exceeding $400 million. 

Well, it turns out, James may be back in court in yet another civil fraud case, only she is going to be the defendant.  

Trump’s Civil Fraud Case 

The case against Trump was a complete and utter joke, and I am not talking about whether Trump committed fraud or not.  

The issue with the case is that there were no parties harmed, all banks were happy with their agreements, and even if this was technically fraud, cases such as this are usually settled with a fine and a slap on the wrist, not taking about 20% of someone’s fortune.  

The case also had a biased judge, who issued a partial summary judgment against Trump before a single argument was made in court.  

When you talk about weaponizing the system against someone, that is exactly what happened here.  

Round 2 

Now, Democrats are going after Trump for alleged insider trading.  

When Trump paused his tariffs last week, the market shot through the roof, and Democrats are trying to say that he did this to make all his buddies rich. 

Granted, the post on Truth Social was not the smartest thing Trump ever did, but there is no way he would have done that if he were purposely manipulating the markets.  

Then James announced that she was going to open another investigation against Trump to look into the insider trading allegations.  

Round 3 

Trump is now getting what the media is calling revenge, but it is nothing more than exposing possible fraud.  

James allegedly misrepresented her properties and allegedly falsified bank records to get more favorable terms, exactly what she accused Donald Trump of doing.  

One part of the scheme was that she claimed her Virginia residence as her primary residence, but James is an elected official who is required to live in New York, so this seems fairly straightforward to me.  

One of the few legal experts I respect is Jonathan Turley, and he gave a great breakdown of the case (click here to view). But again, while the media painted Trump as a fraudster, it is now painting James a victim of a weaponized government. I hope and pray they can prove these allegations because nothing would make me happier than to see James get clocked in this case.
