Pictures of Democrat senator meeting with alleged MS-13 gang member

Democrats have a really bad habit of jumping on a cause before they fully vet it, and that appears to be what happened here.  

Senator Van Hollen (D-MD) decided to head to El Salvador to meet with the illegal immigrant who is an alleged MS-13 gang member, and it all blew up in his face.  

I’m Bringing Him Back 

When Van Hollen first announced his trip, he stated that he was going to try to bring Garcia back to the United States.  

When he first arrived in El Salvador, he was denied access to the man, but he did not want to give up.

While all this was going on, the mother of a girl who an illegal immigrant had killed was blowing up all over the news, wanting to know why Van Hollen never even mentioned her daughter while he was defending Garcia and trying to bring him back.  

The media was no better, portraying him as a “Maryland man,” completely ignoring the allegations and the fact that the man had entered this country illegally.  

New News 

The Trump administration had been playing its cards pretty close to the vest on Garcia to this point, merely voicing its allegations.  

That all changed this week when Attorney General Pam Bondi released the government dossier on Garcia.  

Bondi noted his MS-13 contacts, his alleged rank, his alleged gang name, and the significance of the clothing he was wearing in relation to the gang.  

Then accusations of domestic abuse and human trafficking surfaced, and the image of Garcia is now quite tainted.  

Didn’t Stop the Senator 

Well, that did not stop the Senator from having a cozy little lunch with Garcia, who looked no worse for wear. 

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele posted, “Kilmar Abrego Garcia, miraculously risen from the ‘death camps’ & ‘torture’, now sipping margaritas with Sen. Van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador.” 

And this was the report on Fox News... 

Now, can you imagine if the file on Garcia is correct? How can Van Hollen possibly justify that trip to his constituents while ignoring the family of a woman who another illegal immigrant killed? If the file is true, this man is a member of one of the deadliest gangs in the world, and a United States Democrat Senator just had high tea with him. That is the state of the Democrat Party today.
