‘Morning Joe’ admits he got it wrong

During the election, “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough told America that the version of Joe Biden running in this election was the best Joe Biden EVER.

It turns out, Scarborough really only had one meeting with Biden while presenting himself as being regularly in touch with Biden and able to comment on this. Now, he is finally admitting that he got it all wrong.

Best Biden ever

In March 2024, Scarborough told his audience, "I've said it for years now, he's cogent. But I undersold it when I said he was cogent, he's far beyond cogent. In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been, intellectually, analytically, because he's been around for 50 years.

"Start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And f-you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever."

When Scarborough was confronted about his comments after the publication of “Original Sin,” he responded by making an attack against Donald Trump, stating, "He stumbled and bumbled around, Mark. I mean, yeah, he certainly did. Donald Trump did, other politicians did, and it’s actually the same case as a lot of times when I’ve gone in and talked to Donald Trump.

“We go on to Donald Trump, and I’ve heard the media narrative around Donald Trump, and certainly I’ve been very critical of Donald Trump, and when I leave, I have a better understanding, just like Jeffrey Goldberg did a couple of weeks ago, a better understanding of where Donald Trump is mentally, if Donald Trump is losing it, like people have said through the years or not."

You were targeted

CNN host Jake Tapper, who co-wrote “Original Sin” with Alex Thompson, informed Scarborough that the Biden administration had targeted him.

Apparently, Biden watched the show regularly and wanted Scarborough to believe Joe was 100%.

Tapper told him, "Joe Biden saw that. Joe Biden said to staffers that he wanted to convince you that you were wrong, and he focused on you like you were a constituency, like you were farmers in Iowa, like you were the Kiwanis Clubs in New Hampshire. And he made sure that you thought differently.”

When Scarborough said his interview with Biden took place in the early afternoon, Tapper responded, "There you go. Middle of the day." As we learned a few months ago, Biden’s handlers tried to have Joe’s daily interactions wrapped up by early afternoon before he started to run out of gas.

I was wrong

Scarborough finally admitted that he got it wrong. That he was seeing Biden during his best moments and Biden’s worst were being hidden from him, but that is a load of malarkey.

Scarborough stated, "We get phone calls at home where the guy is like pounding me because of op-eds that I wrote, etc., etc.

“So, I said that this was Biden at his best. That’s what I saw. That's what other people saw, I was obviously wrong, so I’m not sure what my takeaway is here, the next time.”

Did Scarborough not watch Biden falling down, the shuffling of his feet, how he lost his concentration during Q&A periods, the few that they had? I saw it, you saw, and everyone on the right saw it, but the left and the media purposely covered this up. I don’t care how much these guys grovel, they will never be trusted or forgiven for what they did during the Biden presidency and the 2024 campaign season.
