Tapper says Trump needs to be more transparent with medical records

Jake Tapper is out doing his media tour to promote his new book, “Original Sin,” but he just made a statement of which I cannot believe came out of his mouth.

Tapper dared to call out Trump for not being “transparent” on his medical records after he refused to call out Biden on his health issues, even though they were very apparent.

Not Taking Cognitive Testing

There was more than enough proof in Biden’s public appearances that he really needed to take a cognitive test to prove that he was up for the job.

Honestly, I think anyone running for president should have to take this test and agree to have the results released publicly. And I would further state that it should be part of the annual physical, with all results being made public.

When Biden was asked about taking this test after his last physical, Biden laughed it off, as though it was an utterly ridiculous idea.

When Biden was directly asked about taking the test, he responded, "No. No one said I had to. No one said. They said I'm good."

Doctor Not Releasing Physical Records

After Joe Biden’s physical, Dr. Kevin O’Connor gave a report, but he would not actually release the records.

He stated that Biden “is a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male, who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”

This came after the special counsel report stated that Biden would be perceived as an “elderly man with a poor memory.”

After that report came out, Biden was livid, stating, “I know what the hell I’m doing.”

Tapper Says Trump Not Transparent

Jake Tapper has been in spin mode after being criticized for reporting on Biden’s mental decline for profit but not reporting on it in real time.

No he is throwing darts at Trump over his medical history, stating, "I just think in general, not Trump specific, but in general, I think that the press corps, and I‘m certainly including myself, needs to worry less about politeness when it comes to these health issues and needs to be even more aggressive when it comes to demanding transparency on health issues.”

He later added, "When it comes to the president, President Trump, while he appears healthy, he has not been transparent about his health records. And I think that that‘s something that the American people have a right to."

Tapper has tried to make this whole thing sound as though he was deceived, but Megyn Kelly hit the nail on the head, telling Tapper right to his face that he did not see it because he didn’t want to see it because the media hated Trump so much. I am all for presidential health records being made public, but Tapper going after Trump like this is utterly ridiculous when you consider his real-time reporting on Biden.
