Former Biden Press Secretary leaving Democrat Party

When Karine Jean-Pierre was serving as Biden’s press secretary, she was loyal to a fault, always denying that there was any Biden mental decline.  

Now, she is writing a book and has announced that she is leaving the Democrat Party, stunning the White House press corps as well as former Biden staffers, some of whom are now throwing darts at Jean-PIerre.   

Defending Biden 

It did not take long into Biden’s term when questions started to arise about Biden’s mental decline and stamina, and after taking over as Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre defended Biden.  For instance, in June 2022, when she was asked about Biden having the stamina to run for a second term, she responded, “That is not a question that we should be even asking,” adding that it was all “hearsay” in regard to Biden’s mental decline.  

On that issue, she stated, “Don, you’re asking me this question. Oh my gosh. He’s the president of the United States … just look at the work he does. And look how he’s delivering for the American public.” 

When rumors surfaced that Biden was running out of energy in the middle of the day and that Biden’s staff was protecting him in terms of meetings when he was at his best, she responded, “No one treats the president of the United States, the commander-in-chief, like a baby. That’s ridiculous. It’s a ridiculous claim.” 

After the Special Counsel report from Robert Hur was released, describing Biden as a forgetful old man who would likely draw sympathy from the jury, Jean-Pierre again defended Biden, stating, “The reality is, that report, that part of the report does not live in reality. It just doesn’t. It is gratuitous. It is unacceptable, and it does not live in reality.” That statement was obliterated after “Original Sin” was published. 

Jean-Pierre Leaving Democrat Party 

After years of lying to the American people, Jean-Pierre has announced that she is leaving the Democrat Party and writing a book about the “broken” Biden administration.  

In announcing that she was leaving the Democrat Party, she stated, "What I have decided to do, and I really have thought long and hard about this, is to follow my own compass. That's what I've done and that's what this book does.” 

In the book’s description, she says she will tell the story of "the three weeks that led to Biden’s abandoning his bid for a second term and the betrayal by the Democratic Party that led to his decision." 

I am really curious to see how she portrays this and if she even addresses the issue of Biden’s mental decline. This is someone who was around Biden quite a bit, so it would be devastating if she even hints that she saw something amiss. 

The Reaction  

After Jean-Pierre announced “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines,” Biden loyalists started to react, as well as members of the media who were stunned that she was going to leave the party.  

One former Biden staffer told Politico, “She made a joke about being an independent last year and now it’s a book. All ideas are monetary — even the dumb ones.” 

Another former staffer commented, “SHE was the public face telling us all that this White House was on track and that Biden was amazing. And now she doesn’t even want to be a Democrat???? She’s making herself the middle ground here when Republicans hate her. She’s not in any position to be a connector of our two-party system and assuming she could be is just ego.” 

I just don’t see how this book will be perceived well by anyone when you consider the message that she put out every day. Even the title of the book is an admission that she was lying to the American people on a daily basis, and to think someone who shredded Trump and his supporters on a daily basis is now going to play unifier is a complete and utter joke.
