Musk and Trump lobby shots at each other after fallout

Things are starting to get very ugly between Musk and Donald Trump, with Musk throwing bombs at Trump after their fallout.

Some GOP members are now saying that Musk went too far, and they are rallying behind Trump.

Impeach Trump

After Musk criticized the spending bill, you could almost sense that Trump was seething, then the shots started to come from the other side, and it was game on.

After a few insults. Musk agreed with a comment by conservative pundit Ian Miles Cheong, who posted, “President vs Elon. Who wins? My money’s on Elon. Trump should be impeached and JD Vance should replace him.”

Musk started a stampede online when he responded with just one word, “Yes.”

Musk had also created a stir by posting, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @RealDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

You Lose

At this point, Trump started to post about how much he had helped Elon Musk and that he was getting tired of Musk and asked him to leave, which we know is not true, as Trump had openly stated that Musk always had a home if he wanted it.

Not only that, but Trump gave Musk a key to the White House. Do you really think he would have made that gesture if he did not want Musk to hang around?

Trump then went for the throat, suggesting he would cut all Musk’s government contracts, which led to Musk saying he would decommission the Dragon spaceship, which is put to use regularly by NASA.

Musk also posted, "Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such ingratitude.”

Too Far

Republicans did not respond well to Musk dropping the Epstein bomb, and they immediately came after Musk, rallying behind Trump.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), who has had his own battles with Trump, responded, "Elon crossed the line today.” Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) added, "There's just no need for this. Those conversations should be taking place behind closed doors."

Rep. Fandy Fine (R-FL) also chimed in, stating, "What I would say is, if Joe Biden had Donald Trump in the Epstein logs, there's no question it would have come out during the campaign. So, I don't know what's prompting it. I think it's all unfortunate."

I predicted this fallout after Musk joined Trump’s team, saying I would be surprised if this lasted six months, but it took less than five months for them to go at each other. It is nonsense like this, which was easily predictable, as to why I supported DeSantis in the primary. This little spat makes the GOP look like children, and it just might be enough to cost us the House and Senate in 2026, and the White House in 2028. The adults need to take charge, but that is far from the case right now.
