Cruz and Tucker battle over Iran goes viral
With the Israel-Iran war being top of mind, it was only a matter of time before Tucker Carlson got into the mix.
That happened this week on several fronts, but the best was the clash between Cruz and Carlson.
He’s Complicit
This all got started when Carlson took a shot at Trump for being “complicit in the act of war.”
Carlson continued, “What happens next will define Donald Trump’s presidency.”
This created outrage among MAGA, in the White House, and among Trump’s supporters in Congress.
Needless to say, the idea that Trump and Carlson are buddies has been shattered.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) sat down with Carlson, apparently thinking he was about to get into a softball interview, but Carlson started hitting him with questions from left field to embarrass Cruz.
For instance, he asked Cruz what the population of Iran was, and when Cruz said he did not know, Carlson, in a very belittling way, responded, “You don't know the population of the country you seek to topple?"
Carlson then asked him if he knew the demographics of the country, which Cruz did not know.
Carlson then snapped, "You don't know anything about Iran," adding, "You're a senator who is calling for the overthrow of the government and you don't know anything about the country!"
Embarrassed
Cruz was embarrassed in that interview, regardless of how much I disagree with Carlson’s point on this.
Cruz tried to cover himself afterward, stating, “I will say on foreign policy, Tucker has gone bat crap crazy. He’s gone off the rails. He is suddenly a hardcore isolationist.” Carlson also attacked the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which Cruz also addressed, stating, “It was just unhinged. There are conspiracy sections of the internet that are worried that, like AIPAC is running the world, it’s just not reality. And he didn’t like it when I called him on it.”
The bottom line here is that if you are going to put down the narratives that Carlson is pushing, you better be prepared, and Cruz looked like a high school freshman at a college debate during that part of the interview. Not exactly the best way to get the people behind Trump on this.
If you want to watch the full interview, I have it posted below. It goes from Cruz gushing over Carlson, to Carlson making some valid points, ultimately to the clash between Carlson and Cruz battling over Iran. Carlson did make some exceptional points about the state of the country, but this interview will surely only be known for the clash with Cruz over Iran. To see the full interview, click here.
