Fellow New Yorker destroys AOC narrative on growing up

There is a growing epidemic in Congress of elected officials pretending to be something they are not.  

The GOP got caught with George Santos, who was eventually booted out of office. But Democrats have a few of their own, including two of the future stars of the party.  

They Just Like to Lie 

In December 2024, The Harvard Gazette ran a report about the growing epidemic of liars in Congress.  

This is something that I address weekly, if not daily, and I have always stated that if I ever had access to these people, I would call them out to their faces and ask them directly, “Why are you lying?” 

Bill Adai, the founder of PolitiFact, actually did a report on this, explaining, “Lying is not a victimless crime. When politicians choose to lie, there are often people who suffer, and often an individual who suffers a great deal, often someone whose reputation is damaged, whose life is turned upside-down.” 

But nobody ever calls them out on it unless their name is Trump, and politicians know this, so they calculate the damage if the lie is found out versus the initial coverage of the lie itself, and the lie usually outweighs the truth, at least in my experience.  

Jasmine Crockett 

When Jasmine Crockett first entered politics, it was for a seat in the Texas state legislature.  

She was a very well-spoken, polite, and well-mannered young lady, clearly highly educated. Yet, now that she is in the House, she tries to come off like a thug from the hood, but that is hardly her background.  

She was private-schooled in St. Louis, with her parents shelling out tens of thousands of dollars in tuition, then she went to Rhodes College, which costs about $50,000 a year.  

So, I was not kidding when I said I thought she had a promising future, but go compare her Texas legislature campaign videos to who she pretends to be today, and you will realize she is a complete and utter fraud.  

AOC 

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) always refers to herself as a “Bronx girl,” but that is not true either, which we found out thanks to an old yearbook picture. 

State Assemblyman Matt Slater (R-Yorktown) dropped the bombshell picture after AOC again touted her Bronx background, posting the picture with the caption, “If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already.” 

He later added, “The truth is AOC is Sandy Cortez who went to Yorktown High School and lived at the corner of Friends Road and Longvue Street.” 

Sadly, the mainstream media will never call her out on this, and even if they did, they would accept whatever lie spewed from her mouth in response. How many times have I called this political theater in the past? Congress, as our Founding Fathers envisioned, has ceased to exist. Now it is just an avenue to improve their social media profiles and get rich. They are influencers, not lawmakers.
