Dems taking big hits after critical Kirk remarks
The lack of class and utter disrespect for life that has been shown by Democrats and liberals after the assassination of Charlie Kirk is actually heartbreaking. It goes beyond infuriating that so many people are celebrating death, a violent death, and the fact that two small children will never see their father again.
The only solace we can take is that the hand of justice is swinging freely right now.
Resign now
There are far too many examples to cite, but I am picking a variety to show you how widespread this problem is today.
Palmetto Bay, FL, councilman Steve Cody posted to Facebook, "Charlie Kirk is a fitting sacrifice to our Lords Smith & Wesson. Hallowed be their names.”
How do you write something so callous? If you don’t like the man, just stay quiet, but as an elected official, you have to realize that this is endorsing this heinous and cowardly act.
Republican Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier responded, "If this Facebook post is legitimate, Steve Cody should resign from his position as Palmetto Bay Council member immediately.”
Well, it was real, but Cody has since deleted it. That aside, Uthmeier is right in that Cody needs to be removed from his post.
Suspended
If you can believe it, numerous service members in this country celebrated the death of a man for using his First Amendment rights, which they defend on the battlefield.
Army Col. Scott Stephens was suspended after his vile comments were publicized.
One post stated, "The death of Charlie Kirk in Utah was tragic. However, we can take comfort in the fact that Charlie was doing what he loved best — spreading hate, racism, homophobia, misogyny, and transphobia on college campuses.”
He had also stated, "I would offer empathy, but Charlie hated empathy. As we have been told in the wake of so many other tragedies, we have to move on. We can’t make this political."
And then there is this…
A Democrat candidate for Ohio Attorney General, Elliot Forhan, should be immediately disqualified from the race after his post.
He posted, “F**k Charlie Kirk. If you cannot call a bigot a bigot in America, then we do not have the free speech that he pretended to care about.”
He did not have examples because the only examples that exist are all taken out of context, cherry-picking a single line to try to make the case against Kirk, but when you listen to the full comments, you would have to be a complete moron to think he was making racist statements.
As I have stated in other reports, the only thing Kirk was guilty of was talking about the uncomfortable things and doing it without fear. In the process, his truth bombs hurt people's feelings, and now he is dead because of it.
