Bondi says copycat murders will not be tolerated

Whenever you have a murder that generates nationwide attention, there is always the danger of some lunatic trying to duplicate the attack to get themselves into the papers. The two most recent murders of Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska are prime examples of murders that could lead to copycat killers.

If that does happen, Attorney General Pam Bondi has already warned them there will be a heavy price to pay.

Charlie Kirk

The assassination of Kirk was horrific on so many different fronts.

I had the event on a live stream, listening to it in the background while I was working, remembering hearing that shot.

Within minutes, the video was up on social media, showing the violent movement of Kirk’s body, the shocking loss of blood, and his body going limp immediately after the bullet struck him.

In that one split second, a good woman lost her husband, and two young children lost their father, all because people did not like the uncomfortable questions that Charlie enjoyed asking.

Iryna Zarutska

The violent stabbing of Iryna Zarutska was also caught on video, and it was replayed over and over again.

Zarutska was sitting on a local train when the man behind her stood and started to stab her repeatedly with a knife. Zarutska was stunned, but reportedly collapsed less than a minute after the assault, and she was later pronounced dead.

Bondi stated, "[Ms Zarutska's] horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people.”

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy added, "If mayors can't keep their trains and buses safe, they don't deserve the taxpayers' money.”

Not on my watch

Bondi does want this to turn into a copycat cycle, and she is warning anyone getting any ideas that they will be found, and they will meet justice.

Bondi stated, "Look at the work the FBI did with ATF on Charlie's assassination. How quickly the FBI had someone in custody for this murder, so we will find you, we will catch you, and we will prosecute you.

"I think that's a huge deterrent because I think a lot of people think they can get away with it, and they can't."

Most were hoping this assassination would get Hollywood stars, the media, and Democrats to tone it down, but forget that, because I honestly believe this is the chaos that drives the Democrat Party. Actor Mark Ruffalo is now saying that this administration is like the Taliban, and Rep. Crockett (D-TX) has doubled down on her Nazi Trump claims and her racist Kirk claims. Sadly, I doubt that the assassination of Kirk will be the last attack against prominent Republicans.
