Newsom says right is suffering from California Derangement Syndrome

The one state that very few conservatives want anything to do with is California.

As a matter of fact, we don’t want anything to do with Californians either. I can tell you that as a Texan who has had to deal with implants moving here every year.

Well, Governor Gavin Newsom appears to think that we are obsessed with him and his state, saying that we are suffering from California Derangement Syndrome, once again ripping off a Trump term.

Get Your State in Order

Newsom has been trying to copy Trump to position himself for 2028, but he has also tried to portray himself as a tough guy fighting back against the bad orange man.

However, the bad orange man just landed a crushing blow, holding a massive raid to track down some anti-ICE protesters in Newsom’s backyard.

Bill Essayli, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, commented, "I want to be very clear. Every American has a right to peacefully protest. What is not constitutionally protected is a right to engage in violence, or to impede federal agents by assaulting or doxing or obstructing their operations."

Nearly a dozen people were arrested, including a protester who allegedly damaged an ICE vehicle.

Fake backstory

Newsom also just took a hit in the New York Post report about his “poorigin” story about how he grew up.

This seems to be a new trend among Democrats who are now trying to portray themselves as having a poor upbringing to make themselves more relatable to voters.

We saw this during the presidential election with Harris’s story about working at McDonald’s, and Newsom is trying to come off as a family that struggled, even though his father was an attorney attached to the Getty family at the hip.

As a side note, go research who backed Newsom’s boutique winery venture when he got out of school, then come back and tell me how he struggled during his childhood.

California Derangement Syndrome

Newsom does not have an inventive bone in his body, so now he is duplicating Trump’s 2024 plan to position himself for the 2028 election, right down to doing the podcast circuit to draw in more supporters.

That also now includes stealing Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, and replacing it with California Derangement Syndrome, or CDS. Newsom claims it is because the right is terrified of him telling the truth, but it is quite the opposite. We are writing about him to make sure the American people don’t fall for his endless lies.

For instance, Will Swaim, president of the California Policy Center, wrote, “I still get buzzed when I recall that a majority of Californians looked at what Gavin Newsom allowed while mayor of San Francisco -- rampant homelessness, transportation gridlock, failed public projects, a widening income gap, sidewalk needles, and human, er, waste -- and decided they wanted that for the whole state. They elected him governor in 2018 and now complain that California is going to hell.”

Newsom is a complete and utter failure. He was horrible as a mayor, and is worse as a governor, but Californians treat their elections like beauty pageants and personality contests, which is the only way I can explain how Newsom got re-elected. Trust me, Gavin, we don’t have CDS, but you surely have a case of TDS and an even worse case of Trump Envy Syndrome.
