Top Biden spokesperson makes shocking admission

One of the biggest talking heads of the Biden administration was spokesperson Ian Sams.

When it came to defending Biden, he assured everyone that Biden was “sharp as ever.”

Well, it turns out, Sams barely had any interactions with Biden, likely less than a half-dozen in person.

The Narrative

We all remember when this narrative started to come into play.

Joe Biden had some bad interviews, and this “sharp as ever” phrase, as well as everyone saying that Biden outworked everyone in the White House, started to come into play.

For instance, in early July 2024, then-White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had stated, “What I can say is this is a president who is strong and resolute in delivering for the American people.”

KJP later added, “I see a president when I’m sitting in front of him, going through the day or talking about what he’s doing next. He is someone that engages with us. He wants wants to know, he pushes us, he prods us -- wanting to figure out like the bigger picture of whatever we’re trying to explain to him, or even granule details.”

Sams was also regularly asked questions about Biden, and he gave off the impression that he spent a lot of time with Biden and that Biden was “sharp as ever.”

When the Special Counsel report came out that characterized Biden as a forgetful but well-meaning elderly man, Sams went ballistic, calling out Hur for "making gratuitous and inappropriate criticisms of the president," claiming it was all politically motivated.

During an MSNBC interview, the subject of Biden’s mental health came up again. He stated, "No, I've gotta say that doesn't look anything like the president that I know. When I deal with him, he's sharp. He's asking tough questions."

It would have been nice for Sams to let everyone know that he had only been in the same room as Biden a couple of times, but he failed to mention that little tidbit.

Different Story

Sams was called to testify before Congress, which is investigating a possible cover-up of Biden’s mental demise, so Sams had no choice but to tell the truth, but he was still the spin master we know him to be.

When asked about his time with Biden during the administration, he said that he "interacted with him pretty infrequently" and "met with the president a handful of times during my tenure in the White House."

The House Oversight Committee X account went nuclear, posting, "Ian Sams, one of Joe Biden's spokespersons, met with him only TWICE in over TWO YEARS. Then he would go on live television and say he interacted with him EVERY SINGLE DAY. He was LYING to the American people to cover up for Biden's decline.”

The sad reality is that nothing will happen to Sams, and there is very little likely to come of this investigation other than a scathing report that Democrats will call a partisan hit job, even though it will likely regurgitate the same information in Jake Tapper’s book. They treat us like idiots, and we all allow it to happen. You cannot trust a politician… any of them.
