REPORT: Biden was warned about dangers of immigration policy

When Joe Biden was on the campaign trail during the 2020 cycle, he said this country could absorb an additional two million migrants right away. He also expressed interest in expanding how many migrants we legally permit to enter the country every year.

Biden could not get his plan through Congress, so he just ignored our immigration laws and opened the borders. Now, memos from his time in office have been leaked, and it would appear he had been warned about the dangers of his policies, and he just disregarded them all.

Changing the rules

Joe Biden just blatantly changed the rules, or should I say, ignored our current laws, to open our borders.

We all remember the CBP app that more or less guaranteed asylum to migrants who used the app to enter the country. There were also other subtle changes made by Biden, like ordering federal agencies to use the term “non-citizen” so there was no distinction between legal and illegal immigrants.

The media bought into the narrative, regularly referring to illegals as “asylum seekers” when they were doing their reports.

I have looked over various reports on the matter, and the consensus is always the same: nearly 90% of the people who were given entry to this country with Biden in the White House would have been refused under the normal asylum processes.

Trump calls them out

During the 2024 presidential campaign, Biden ripped into Harris for their disastrous immigration policies while they were debating.

Trump claimed that “migrant crime” is occurring at “levels that nobody thought possible.”

He further claimed that countries were taking “their criminals off the street, and they’ve given them to [Kamala Harris] to put into our country.”

His message hit home, as immigration dominated the election cycle and became a high priority for voters.

While Trump is seeing pushback in polling now, the man never hid his intention to try to remove every single person who had ever entered this country illegally.

Biden was warned

A leaked memo now reveals that Biden knew his policies would be harmful, but he just plowed ahead anyway.

One advisor told him, “A potential surge could create chaos and a humanitarian crisis, overwhelm processing capacities and imperil the agenda of the new administration.”

Biden was offered alternatives, such as holding centers and rejecting some claims that were obviously not serious, but he decided to look past the advice and move forward with record-setting immigration numbers on his watch.

Biden always claimed he was powerless to do anything without the help of Congress, but come the 2024 election cycle, Biden suddenly clamped down at the border, hurting his own case that he had made for three previous years that he had no power to do anything. It was all by design, and these memos prove it.
