Trump adviser claims he was banned from CNN

We have a bit of a controversy brewing, as the Trump adviser Stephen Miller is claiming that he was banned from CNN. After Miller made his claim, CNN came out to say that it would welcome him anytime.

Of course, the Trump administration then unleashed on the network with a new nickname.

Bad man

The media and the left in general have been after Miller since Trump’s first term in office.

To give you an idea of how he had been labeled, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights wanted him removed from the administration, claiming, “In his role as your senior advisor, Stephen Miller has promoted hate speech spewed from neo-Nazis, bigots, and white supremacists. His advancement of white nationalist ideology has resulted in policies -- and violent acts -- that actively harm immigrants, people of color, and marginalized communities.”

The letter continued, “These policies include the devastating Muslim ban, efforts to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, a ban on transgender people serving in the military, and the family separation policy that has led to the cruel and inhumane treatment of immigrant families in detention centers throughout our nation.”

Trump, of course, did not remove him, and Miller remained with Trump and is serving in this administration as well.

He’s a Nazi

Many Democrats have likened the Jewish Trump aide to a Nazi, the most recent example being Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Miller had responded to a recent report in the Wall Street Journal about refugees, stating, “This is the great lie of mass migration. You are not just importing individuals. You are importing societies.

“No magic transformation occurs when failed states cross borders. At scale, migrants and their descendants recreate the conditions, and terrors, of their broken homelands.”

Omar replied to his comments, “When I think about Stephen Miller and his white supremist rhetoric, it reminds me of the way the Nazis described Jewish people in Germany.”

The alleged ban

According to Miller, the White House communications department reached out to CNN to see if he could go on, and they were told, “We will not take him, period, for any show on any topic.”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity asked Miller if the ban was real, and he responded, “Yes, Sean, I think the -- I think that your decision to play the clips of me on CNN has resulted in CNN refusing to take me, so this is a completely true story.”

After the Hannity segment aired, CNN replied, “Members of the administration, including Stephen Miller, are welcome to come on our air.” So now we just have to wait to see if they are good to their word and have him on.

In the meantime, White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung called the network the "Chicken News Network,” once again showing off his sharp third-grade wit and professionalism.
