Barron Trump reportedly advising father about podcast appearances

It's no secret that Donald Trump might need a little bit of help with younger voters, if for no other reason than the type of campaign that Kamala Harris is running, and she seems to target that demographic with buzzwords like "brat, "core," and "weird."

One of the ways that Donald Trump is hoping to claw back some of that younger audience is from podcast appearances.

And how does the former president decide which podcasts are worth his time and energy?

He lets his son, Barron Trump, advise him.

That's right, Barron Trump is barely out of high school, having just started his first year at NYU, and he's advising a campaign geared toward taking back America's White House.

According to MSNBC, Donald Trump has been listening to Barron ever since Donald sat down with controversial Kick streamer Adin Ross.

The outlet noted, "At the time, the former president suggested that Barron was the one who first told him about Ross, telling the streamer that his 18-year-old son is 'a big fan of yours.'"

It certainly was a risk for Donald Trump to sit down with Ross, who is famous for promoting gambling to his relatively young audience.

The gamble appears to have paid off for Trump, who recently said that his son was helping him win over younger voters. He observed:

He is — he knows so much about it. Adin Ross — you know, I mean I do — some people that I wasn’t so familiar with. Different generation. He knows every one of them. And we’ve had tremendous success, as you know.

The interview with Ross must have been a success, because shortly after his first podcast appearance, Donald Trump was doing more.

"They don’t grow up watching television the same way as we did. They grow up looking at the internet or watching a computer. But Barron knew them," Donald Trump said.

Barron Trump is apparently up to date and well-informed on the podcast scene, as evidenced by his connections with other podcasters, Patrick Bet-David and Justin Waller, pictured below.
