Former CIA boss blows up over Biden’s letter

During the 2020 election, John Brennan, who had served as the Director of the CIA during the Obama-Biden administration, signed a letter that claimed the Hunter Biden laptop had all the earmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.

Not a single one of the officials who signed the letter had inspected the laptop, and they were very careful how they worded the document, but their intent was clear… to debunk the laptop story to help Joe Biden win the election.

It worked, and now Brennan is under fire for his role in that letter. And when he was called out on it during a public event, he completely lost his mind.

The Emails

Former CIA director Michael Morell and former CIA chief John Brennan were in communication during the election to help Biden by writing the letter.

The communication made it clear that they were trying to provide Joe Biden with a talking point to use during the debate.

After Brennan received the email from Morell, he responded, “Good initiative. Thanks for asking me to sign on.”

When the topic came up during the debate, Biden referred to the letter in his response, stating, “There are 50 former national intelligence folks, who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plant. They have said that this has all the, four, five, former heads of the CIA, both parties say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage.”

Brennan Referred for Criminal Prosecution

Brennan has been under attack ever since the Trump administration came into power.

The administration was already going after his security clearance, but the party was not done, as Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wanted to go after Brennan for allegedly making false statements while testifying before Congress.

Jordan eventually referred Brennan to the Department of Justice for prosecution. He claimed that Brennan denied that the CIA used the Steele dossier in its assessment.

He also stated that the CIA had opposed using the Steele dossier in the assessment.

Brennan Loses His Cool

Thomas Speciale, a national security consultant and former senior advisor to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, went after Brennan twice, and the second time, he really got his goat.

Speciale asked Brennan a question during a panel discussion, which was brushed off by the panel, but you could see that Brennan was upset with the question.

However, the really interesting confrontation happened after the event during a reception with the panel members. Speciale asked Brennan why he signed the letter, and Brennan was furious, even putting his hands on Speciale…

Brennan’s argument is complete garbage because he is just playing semantics on what they said. They all knew what they were doing by issuing that letter, and I have always believed everyone who signed that letter should be stripped of their clearance and with election interference charges.
