Greene openly declares war on Trump

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has officially turned against Donald Trump.

This has been simmering for months, but after Trump doubled down on his “traitor” comments, she had decided to forego any hope of making peace with Trump.

Now, she has become his biggest detractor within the party.

Jousting

I believe this all goes back to Greene being snubbed for a cabinet position, as she was clearly upset that people like Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., and Elon Musk were being added while she was left on the sidelines.

Then, when she showed interest in running for the Senate, the Trump camp provided a poll showing that she would get skunked, and that was the end of that.

Ever since then, Greene has been like a mischievous child looking for attention, pushing back on all things Trump to get his attention. Well, she got it.

Trump broke his silence on Greene several weeks ago with a gentle nudge, then he called her a traitor, twice, so she questioned if Trump’s agenda was truly America First, and that did not sit well with the president.

Second time

After Greene attacked Trump on H-1B visas and all his recent travel overseas, Trump took off the gloves and really unloaded on her.

He responded, "Marjorie 'Traitor' Greene. I don't think her life is in danger. I don't think. Frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her."

That was the second time he attacked her on this front, having posted on November 14, "I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of 'Congresswoman' Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia.”

He continued, "Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country ... all I see 'Wacky' Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!"

The breakup

After all the years of defending Trump, no matter what, Greene is not taking this sitting down, just as I had predicted.

She stated, “I was called a traitor by a man that I fought for five, no actually six years for. And I gave him my loyalty for free … I’ve never owed him anything, but I fought for him for the policies and for America First.”

She continued, “And he called me a traitor for standing with these women and refusing to take my name off the discharge petition. Let me tell you what a traitor is. A traitor is an American that serves foreign countries and themselves. A patriot is an American that serves the United States of America and Americans like the women standing behind me.”

We have all seen how Greene operates when she goes into attack dog mode, and Trump just cannot afford this right now. Here is a crazy idea… pick up the phone, invite her in for dinner at the White House, and figure out a way to co-exist without throwing daggers at each other in the media. To be blunt, we cannot afford this childish nonsense in an already challenging election cycle. You want the Dems to clean the floor with us next November? Just keep this up.
