Justice Kavanaugh Rejects Biden Emergency Request

Joe Biden got some bad news this week courtesy of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The administration had made an emergency petition to have the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) plan revived in Missouri.

Kavanaugh denied the emergency review, blocking the plan from going into effect.

Get Ready for It

The plan by Biden is devastating to the United States taxpayer.

On the plan, Pennsylvania University Wharton Business School claimed, “We estimate that the New Plans will cost $84 billion in addition to the $475 billion that we estimated for President Biden’s SAVE plan, for a total cost of about $559 billion across both plans.”

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) estimate was even worse.

The CRFB estimated the costs to be between $870 billion to $1.4 trillion.

Kavanaugh’s denial will block the plan from going into effect in Missouri, so we can expect a slew of lawsuits to follow on this front.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Baily took a victory lap, stating, "This is the second time the Supreme Court has sided with my office against one of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ unlawful student loan cancellation schemes.

"This court order is a stark reminder to the Biden-Harris Administration that Congress did not grant them the authority to saddle working Americans with $500 billion in someone else’s Ivy League debt."

The Biden administration was on the other end of the spectrum, stating, "Our Administration will continue to aggressively defend the SAVE Plan – which has helped over 8 million borrowers access lower monthly payments, including 4.5 million borrowers who have had a zero dollar payment each month.

"And, we won’t stop fighting against Republican elected officials’ efforts to raise costs on millions of their own constituents’ student loan payments."

It is ridiculous not to hold these people accountable for loans they willingly took out.

They could have gone to a community school, or a state school, yet these people willingly signed up for school tuition they knew they could not afford, and now Biden wants We the People to bail them out.

Just one more nugget to put on our already overcrowded plates.
