Osbourne family shares voice mail left by Donald Trump

One of the things that frustrates me about Donald Trump is this tough-guy persona he puts on in public.

As I have stated in other reports, I grew up in that area, and casually met Trump at poker events in Atlantic City, as well as at events at hotels I worked at during that period.

He was always a very nice guy, and there were often stories about how he would help people unsuspectingly simply because he read a story in the paper. He just made a gesture that I doubt anyone would have expected, and the family just came clean about it.

Ozzy

If you are a metal head like me, Ozzy is all you need to hear to know who we are talking about.

Ozzy Osbourne co-founded Black Sabbath and is considered a pioneer of heavy metal.

His antics on stage when he was younger were legendary, as was his abuse of drugs and alcohol.

The man was a true entertainer with one of the most unique voices I have ever heard, and how he made it into his 70s, well, that is just one of the great mysteries of life.

He’s Gone

Ozzy really started to suffer over the last decade, and at his last show, he could not even get out of the chair, but I was glad he managed to perform one last time for his fans.

And all things considered, the show was pretty good. In fact, it was better than the shows I had seen him at years before when he could not even remember his lyrics.

Sadly, he died not long after that final show, as I firmly believe he willed himself to live to perform one last time.

He was pronounced dead on July 22, 2025, from coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s complications.

The Phone Call

Now, Trump is not someone you would expect to be into metal, but the man knew Ozzy and respected him. To that point, after his death, Trump reached out to his widow, Sharon.

Their son, Jack, played a voicemail that Trump left for Sharon after Ozzy’s death, stating, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”

Keep in mind, both Sharon and Ozzy have not always said kind things about Trump, which is likely why the call hit her so hard. Sharon stated, “For him to take his time to do that for us … he doesn’t live in a bubble. He knows what is going on in the streets. He knows what is going on. Again, for President Trump and Melania, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

That is the side of Trump I wish he would show more of because I think it would draw in more people, rather than this monster person the media and Democrats have created. There is a time for everything, but in that political world, Trump always feels as though he needs to have his guard up, and I get it. It’s just a shame, however, because if more people could see the Trump I saw and the man who made that phone call, I think the GOP would be rolling over the Democrats right now.
