REPORT: Obama’s CIA Director subject of grand jury subpoenas

There are big fish, and then there are BIG FISH.

For me, John Brennan, former President Barack Obama’s CIA boss, is atop my wish list.

We may get that as reports are breaking that Brennan is the subject of grand jury subpoenas.

I Have No Idea

This summer, rumors started to swirl that Brennan was being targeted in an investigation.

When Brennan was asked, he responded, “Quite frankly, I don’t know what is true, you know.”

He later added, “If it was a referral, if there is an investigation, presumably if there is an investigation, people will be questioned. I would be questioned about it, but again, I’ve had no contact from them.”

These were just rumors, mind you, but I started to get excited because, in my opinion, in terms of going rogue, he was atop the food chain.

Referrals Made

This all became a reality in October when the House Judiciary Committee formally issued a referral against Brennan to the DOJ.

Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) wrote, “Brennan made numerous willfully and intentionally false statements of material fact contradicted by the record established by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) and the CIA.”

He continued, “Making false statements before Congress is a crime that undermines the integrity of the Committee’s constitutional duty to conduct oversight.”

According to reports. Brennan used the Steele dossier even though he knew it was not worth the paper it was printed on, and then he lied about it to Congress.

Getting Ready

On Wednesday, the little birds were whispering again, saying that the DOJ was getting subpoenas ready for a grand jury investigation targeting Brennan.

As of this writing, the DOJ did not comment on it, but that could change really quickly, so don’t be surprised if you see stories about subpoenas being issued this weekend.

This is stage one. Present the case to the grand jury and see if they find probable cause. If they do, the indictment gets issued, and we finally get Brennan in a courtroom.

I believe Brennan is terrified right now. He operated for years with impunity, but he knows he lied, and he knows there is a real chance he gets indicted. For me, it’s all about Brennan and Comey, and if we can get either one of them, I will be a happy man. Oh, one more thing. If you have Brennan over a barrel, if you squeeze him hard enough, maybe, just maybe, he gives up Obama or Biden's role in all of this. That would be like Christmas morning!
