Wife of Jill Biden’s ex-husband found dead

Bill Stevenson, who was married to Jill from 1970 to 1975, had his 15 minutes of fame during the 2024 election cycle. He heavily criticized Jill for encouraging Joe Biden to stay in the race after the disastrous debate against Trump.

Now he is back in the headlines, only this time it is because his current wife was found dead in their home.

I have always been rough on Jill Biden, literally accusing her of elder abuse, for leading Joe Biden around by the nose when it came to his running for re-election.

Stevenson felt much the same way, ripping Jill Biden publicly after the debate.

He stated, “The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way. She’s matriculated into a completely different woman.”

His time did not last long, but it was extended just a bit by reviving the rumors that Jill and Joe may have had an affair while Stevenson and Jill were married.

Found Dead

This week, it was reported that Linda Stevenson, the current wife of Bill Stevenson, had been found dead in their home, which is located in Delaware, Biden’s home state.

She was reportedly found unresponsive around 11:15 p.m. on Sunday by police when they responded to a domestic violence call.

Stevenson’s daughter, Christna Vettori, stated, “It’s still a murder investigation. I would not like to talk at this time.”

Local police, however, denied that it was the case, stating, “Detectives from the Division’s Criminal Investigations Unit were notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.” The 911 recording mentioned a cardiac arrest, so we really don’t want to speculate as to the cause of her death.

Revived Rumors

With Stevenson back in the headlines, of course, the gossip mongers are revising the alleged affair story again.

The cover story for the Bidens has always been that they met after Biden’s first wife was killed in a car accident with their daughter, Naomi.

Stevenson said the story they told was a lie, and that the pair had met during Joe Biden’s Senate campaign, and he cited that fling as the reason his marriage fell apart. It was only weeks after Biden was elected that the accident took place, with his sons Hunter and Beau surviving the accident.

That accident took place in 1972, with the Stevenson marriage going sour by 1974, with their divorce finalized in 1975. Joe and Jill reportedly started dating around March, just a few months before the divorce was finalized. It’s a case of he said, she said, so I will let you draw your own conclusions.
